Years 10 - 11 (Key Stage 4) Curriculum
Students follow a two-year GCSE curriculum, with Science introducing some concepts in Year 9. Gradual exposure to GCSE assessments helps develop exam skills, while extra time allows for deeper learning. Students take up to nine GCSEs in Key Stage 4.
Students will study up to nine GCSEs. This includes the Core subjects:
- English Language and English Literature
- RE
- Maths
- Science (at least two GCSEs)
- PSHE
- Games
In addition, students can choose up to three subjects from the list below dependent on their GCSE pathway. This includes:
- Art
- BTEC Sport
- Business Enterprise
- Computer Science
- Food Technology
- French
- Geography
- History
- Music
- PE
- Separate Science
- Spanish
- Statistics
- Textiles
