Exams and Results Information
Examinations are a key part of all students’ education, and their success depends on preparation, effort and knowing what is required. We encourage students, parents and carers to keep up with key dates, rules and procedures to make sure the exam process is as smooth as possible. Full details of each students’ examination timetable can be accessed on their EduLink account.
Expectations and Regulations
At St Gregory’s, our goal is to help students do their best by offering clear guidance on exam expectations and students should take exams seriously by being focused, responsible and respectful. This means arriving on time, bringing the right equipment, and following the rules set by the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ).
As an exam centre, we follow the JCQ’s official rules for running exams fairly and properly and these rules are in place to maintain the integrity of any examinations and to ensure all students have the same chance to succeed. The JCQ’s procedures and policies will be shared with all students and their parents prior to assessments commencing and infringement of these rules can lead to disqualification. Therefore, it is important for students familiarise themselves with the requirements which will be shared with them prior to their examinations.
We are committed to supporting our students during the assessment process, and we are happy to provide guidance to any queries or concerns. For further information, please contact our Examinations Officer, Mrs S Phélines on SPhelines@sgschool.org.uk.
