A Level Success at St Gregory’s!

Students at St Gregory’s Catholic School achieved fantastic A Level results this year with over a third of students gaining A*-B grades in A Level courses and 17% of all grades being graded A* or A or equivalent. We are very proud of our students’ achievements and know that the vast majority have secured the results they need for their next steps.

Overall, 67% of students achieved A*-C grades or equivalent. All the staff, students and families today celebrated the results following the hard work and dedication shown over the last two years.

Angela Morrissey, Head of Sixth Form said, "I’m incredibly proud of our Sixth Form students and all they’ve achieved in this year’s A Level results. Their hard work, resilience and ambition have led to some truly inspiring outcomes, with many now heading off to exciting futures in higher education, apprenticeships, and employment. These results are a reflection of the dedication shown by our students, staff, and the unwavering support from families and carers."

Mike Wilson, Headteacher, commented, “I am thrilled to celebrate the excellent achievements of our A Level students this year. Their results reflect the talent, commitment and adaptability they have demonstrated throughout their time at St Gregory’s.

These successes are the product of their sustained effort, willingness to embrace challenges and the support and encouragement of their teachers and families.  The students have shown impressive determination and the results they have achieved are truly well-earned.

I am proud of every one of them and confident that the skills, knowledge and character they have developed will serve them well as they move forward.  Whether they are heading to university, beginning an apprenticeship, or starting their careers, I wish them every success. Their futures are full of promise, and I have no doubt they will continue to inspire us all.”
