Start of the New Year Masses

To mark the start of a new term, as well as the beginning of a calendar year, on Tuesday 23 and Wednesday 24 January we celebrated with Year group Masses throughout our whole school community.

Led by our Deanery priests, the Masses were all based on the theme that we are 'known and loved' by God. Our students engaged well and sang beautifully. A special mention of thanks also goes to the students who performed the readings for each Mass and took part in the offertory.

In the Liturgical calendar, we are now in 'Ordinary time.' Lent is fast approaching and begins with Ash Wednesday on Wednesday 14 February.
